Centre d'Art i Natura CAN

Centre d'Art i Natura (CAN), invites a number of Frontiers artists to conduct research and realise artworks in a small family-run residency located in the village of Farrera, in the upper mountaintops of Catalan Pyrenees. The high-altitude natural environment combined with rich cultural, architectural and social heritage yet dwindling population (of currently 25 year-round inhabitants in the village) provides a unique context for fieldwork. This is nurtured by the centre's interdisciplinary residency community, which brings together artists with natural and social scientists. Facebook
