Incubator: KC GRAD
October 2–6, 2014 at KC GRAD (Belgrade, RS)
KC GRAD Incubator, realised in collaboration with the Old Village Museum of Sirogojno, brought together the Frontiers in Retreat artists, organisers, and a large number of professors and students from art academies in Denmark, Finland, and Norway. The first part of the Incubator took place on October 2 at KC GRAD. The participants of the project and the guests were introduced, and the speakers gave lectures on topics regarding a historical overview of the economic situation in the former Yugoslavia, relations between the state and culture in the past and today, development of art colonies, and new strategies related to the mobility of artists. The second part of the programme discussed environmental issues in Serbia.
